A cordless handset on a Radio Shack ET-3580 5.8GHz Expandable System is having issues.
The handset powers up and still plays ring tones, but the display has no read out (it is blank except for the working backlight). Also, there is no dial tone.
This is handset model ET-3581 #43-3581 or 430-3581. This handset works with the following Radio Shack 5.8GHz: 43-3880 or 43-3580 Expandable Systems. The unit is Champagne color.
It's a discontinued model so store exchange is not an option.
