Hi all this is toshiba TV-37C60 with pincushion problem.
Had to replace the transistor (2SC1815) that is driving the pincushion amp because the octopus box showed weak.
Problem still remains but is getting better had to crank the pincushion pot all the way to straighten out. Thinking, good but I still have niggling feeling about it, turns out I was right:
Turned tv off and cooled off for a hour. Came back to check on it, oh boy a new problem, right side is bowed in and left side is STRAIGHT. Got that? As tv warms up that distortation gradually straightens out.
What can do that?!
