yes, my confusion/misreading schematic , 2SC536. I should have realised it was too early for 2SC5... number
As a by-the-way, is there a resource anywhere for dates of appearance of 2N and 2SC numbers as they both seem to be a somewhat chronological progression.
eg perhaps less than 2N2270, 2SA245, 2SB231, 2SC298 then before 1963
Don't know of any such reference but obviously you were able to tell an old one...
