Sony TV Power Board

Dec 05, 2006 4 Replies

Hey dudes and/or dudettes. Anyone know of an alternative place to get a power board for a Sony Trinitron, model # KV-2S42? The Sony site says it's not in stock. Ebay had a similar one but not quite correct. The board has lots of numbers on it, but it seems to be part # A1316389A, and it's called a PHASE III G BOARD. Any help greatly appreciated, and happy holidays!

The part is not stocked because these are almost always repaired and not replaced. You might find it at PTS for about the cost of a typical repair that would include fising the cause of the problem. Take it to an experienced Sony shop or be prepared to do some troubleshooting.

OOPs. Neither of those numbers are the right one.
