The Sony ICF-S10MK2 is a cheap portable transistor radio, but excellent as far as tuners go. I've actually become more accustomed to listening to this than many of my more expensive radios.
The problem is that the internal tuner strip broke. It's a plastic orange, corrugated strip that attaches to the top case and moves as the tuner dial is turned. I can still turn the dial and get different stations, however I can't see the location on the dial. It's easy to replace, if one can find the part. Does anyone know who might sell this if Sony doesn't have it? There must be some cheap 99¢ store Coby or GPX type radio that uses a strip like this and can be exchanged into the Sony.
