I'm looking for a source for small carbon brushes for my Sunbeam electric shaver. The brushes are about 1/8 x 1/8 x 3/8. My local store who used to carry these no longer has them, and a Google internet search has come up empty.
Does anyone here know of a generic source for small electric motor brushes? I find lots of suppliers for large brushes, but none for the small motor market. Would this be something that hobby shops might carry?

A hobby shop is an idea, if you can find something close you should be able to file it to size.
alternator brushes at an auto store ... find something close then modify
Look for a place who sells slot cars or R/C motors/parts.
My local ACE Hardware store has motor brushes back in with the nuts and bolts. They're in those pull out drawers.
