Siemens Gigaset 2415 question

Hi, I have a Gigaset 2415 as well as one Siemens 242 unit. They are both



2.4 Ghz. I tried to make 242 work with 2415 as an add on unit, but it can't find the channel. Is there a way to make them work together? Thanks

Go to Siemens.com and download the owner manual for the 2415. Follow the directions to register a handset. You may want to de-register the handset before you try and register it on the 2415. Good luck. Scott

The manual says to turn off the registered unit and to place the other one close by. I did it, and the 242 unit displays "Out of range" which means it cannot "see" the base signal. Siemens 242 does not have the extensive menu that 2415 has. Maybe they are not compatible...
