Service manual for Canon UCS5?

Hints: Most of the surface mount electroyltics have leaked out on the boards. Might not be worth fixing as the boards are no longer available and were multi-layer and no Canon support any longer on the unit. Only hope is to take it apart and start checking.

That model does not come up in my database as us ever having a service manual for it as a Canon authorized servicer in the 90's. It is possible it is one of the models towards the end of Canon's attempt to stay in the Camcorder market that they kept as factory depot only, which means little chance for a service manual.

Thanks for the reply. I successfully replaced a puked cap on a Canon A1, but did not get it back together such that it would function mechanically.

Any hints on disassembly/reassembly for the UC series?
