If any one is interested I found a website that has a 2200W inverter/charger for $360.00. Cheapest I have found - don't know how good they are.

Just a comment from Australia
2200w @ 12v = ~200A - a lot of current, very thick 12V wiring required & BIG BatteriesOnly a 20A charger - a long time to charge any decent size batteries that you would have to use to go with it
