The set is in sos, or shutdown mode. It shuts down after operating for 2-3 seconds. After numerous cycles, i have determined that it has high voltage, audio, h sweep but no vertical sweep. Aftr preliminary tbs, i swapped out the vertical ic, la7838, to no avail. No bad solder in the area, vertical supply voltage ok, yoke ok. Any suggestions? I don't have a schematic, btw. jeff
