NV-55BX6 - weird picture.

I am working on a JVC NV-55BX6. This unit has a weird symptom. It does not have a distinguishable picture. It's like there's a blob on the screen in the middle. The audio is fine. You can see some colour around the blob but even the colour that you can see is not a very distinctive picture. If I switch to the A/V input, the picture is all white. you cannot see any on-screen display. Just wondering if anyone else have had this type of problem! What part(s) might cause this?

That's a Mitsubishi VZ7 chassis branded JVC. The problem you're having is not something a novice DIY should try to tackle. There's not a part you can just pop out and pop a new one in. The aspect circuits are causing the problem and if you want to keep the set, I'd highly recommend having a pro tackle it. It can be a bloody mess if you don't know what you're doing. But, your tv, your money, just my opinion.
