The original is the 2M167B and I want to replace it with 2M172AJ.

Hi , why not ?
The spec looks the same .
The only thing is the mounting screw but I chan arrange something.
They cross to the same part number. However, the mounting may be different. Electrically, it looks like they are equivalent based on:
