I was switching from a roof antenna to rabbit ears on my old Magnavox tv. When I unplugged the roof antenna, I lost the audio and can't get it back. I've tried every combination I can think of, including unplugging everything but the antennas. Nothing. What could have happened when I unplugged the antenna, and what can I do about it?

How old? How about unplugging it overnight? Is there a mute? Remote controlled?

It's about 10 years old. I had it shut down overnight, but not unplugged. What difference would that make? I've checked the volume and the mute, the remote seems okay.

You may have jostled a small switch on the back of the TV which selects internal or external speakers.
