So many laser printers dumped away. Anyone plz give ideas if we can make use of parts ? mainly the laser inside ? or other parts ? or a link for such info ?? thanks

The laser is just about worthless, it's a 3-5 mW infrared diode of approximately the same power as a $3 laser pointer only invisible. Laser printers do have lots of good mechanical bits though, especially the polygon scanner mirror.
