Kenmore High Efficiency front loading washer 5 months old turns itself on.

Been hearing a jingling noise from the basement but only after the furnace had been heating for a couple minutes.

Went down and changed the furnace air filter, oiled the combustion motor, reseated the spade connectors to the module. Turned the thermostat to make heat and after a few minutes of blowing air the washer came on! Turns out the momentary on switch had been wedged ever so slightly the last time I turned it on so it didn't release completely. When the furnace is on it blows down close to the washer heating the control panel just enough to make the on/off switch make contact. The washer plays a melodic jingle when it's turned on and when it is done. :-)

Cool! Now if you can just get it to *load* itself... ;-)

(You might, then, want to see what you can coax the *iron* into doing on its own!)
