ORITRON DVD1030 player

theres 3 diodes on the secondary side of the chopper that have shorted. one SR160 reads 3ohms and the two SR360 diodes are 117ohm and 153ohms on the diode test. esr on the caps is good. all other diodes, resistors etc seem ok.

anything i should look at before i replace the diodes and plug it in? normally i find an open resistor or high esr cap somewhere but it seems ok.

Only the SR160 seems shorted (you don't mention you tested the SR360 diodes both ways). Make sure to check ESR on the secundary caps as well, if you didn't do that yet.

What make is it ? Orion ?

It seems that SR160 is short circuit and the two SR360 are ok. Why didn't you write the read of K(+) A(-) and A(+) K(-) of all those diodes.

Change electrolytic caps on the secondary. Use 105° standard caps.
