Cracked Lenticular Screen

Does anybody know:

1) How to get a Pioneer PN#AMR2559 for a SPD5075K (lenticular screen), or a similar replacement (I hear you can sub from another maker) 2) How to replace it from the set?

Shop all your local TV repair shops for the same size or larger screen, which can be cut to size. Each TV is different, so you must figure out how to remove the front frame and screen assembly. Some snap off from the front while others screw on from the rear inside. Then you must seperate the two screens. The inner part is a lens which can not be substituted with a different paart. The outer lenticular screen is virtually the same on all rear projectors and can be subbed from any brand/model. The screens will be screwed together within a frame, or maybe even taped together on some models.

You sure about that last part? I thought the pitch of a lenticular screen had to be matched to the radial cut of the Fresnel lens, or else image distortion could result. At least that's what our Sony repair dude told us.

I tried this once, but there was an interference pattern between the lines in the lenticular screen and the fresnel lens. Andy Cuffe

If you are swapping for a used screen, why not just swapp them together?
