I have recently been having problems with my canon e310 Camcorder.
The camcorder will just power off after about 10-20 seconds after turning it on. This happens when the camera is using ac and batt power.
The picture looks fine when its on, but just shuts itself off and I cannot turn it back on for a few hours. It just refuses to turn back on unless I leave it alone for a while then will turn on then off again.
Any Ideas?

Very likely bad electrolytic capacitors, a common fault on camcorders and other compact surface mount technology appliances. The solution? To replace every single one of them, which is rather expensive. Consider replacing it, but you might want to get an experienced tech to look at it first to confirm- I am 'guesstimating' purely on your brief post which includes no troubleshooting info.

If I have to spen te cash to replce all of them I might as well just go get a new Camera I guess.
