There is no service information or parts support from APC. They will tell you send them the UPS for proper service.

If it is not the batteries causing the problem, it must be sent to APC for repair. APC is very tight with service information and will not release it for any price.
Most definitely true. That's one big reason I don't buy from them on a regular basis. Their attitude towards those who are qualified, and willing, to do self-maintenance is downright insulting.
