ASK C105 or Infocus LP690 projector

Can someone help me determine what is wrong with my ASK C105 projector (I belive Infocus LP690 is the same thing)? I get a yellow "shadow" to the left side of any bright parts on the screen. This also happen on the test picture, without any video sources connected. A service manual would be nice, but if someone knows where to start, i would appreciate it.

There is little to no information available aside from send it to the manufacture for repair. Infocus does not release any schematics or service information to anyone as long as they support the product. Once the product has been obsoleted and dropped from support, there is only one place that has an exclusive contract with Infocus to get the service information.

Your options for troubleshooting are to try the digital video input if it has one to see if the problem goes away versus the standard analog xga input.

My guess is that you have a display panel or driver problem, in which case time to contact the vendor or manufacture about the cost of repairing the unit.

(Those bastards - those of us who want to repair them or have them repaired are mostly out of luck)
