You can use the MBR140 model. And MBR140 = 1n5819 in a different package. Here're Intusoft's models,

.MODEL MBR140P D BV=5.33E+01 CJO=1.44E-10 EG=.69

  • IBV=6.00E-04 IS=1.65E-05 M=.67 N=1.40 RS=4.47E-02
  • TT=7.20E-11 VJ=.75 XTI=2

.MODEL DN5819 D BV=5.33E+01 CJO=1.44E-10 EG=0.69

  • IBV=6.00E-04 IS=1.65E-05 M=.671 N=1.41 RS=4.47E-02
  • TT=7.20E-11 VJ=1.45 XTI=2

.MODEL DN5817 D BV=2.66E+01 CJO=2.31E-10 EG=0.69

  • IBV=3.00E-04 IS=3.53E-05 M=.588 N=1.30 RS=4.47E-02
  • TT=7.20E-11 VJ=2.42 XTI=2

Hmm, that VJ parameter is changing rather a lot! What's up?

Thanks, - Win

Thanks, Win. The VJ parameter affects the capacitance versus voltage curve.

It always warms the cockles of my heart when I see so many different model parameters for the same device :-(

Is that cockles warming, or is it stomach acid coming up?

Thanks, - Win

But it might be less than the diversity in actual parts.

A word to those of you getting older...

Don't ignore "indigestion", it could be a heart attack. Mine was.

A subset? :)

My father had his fatal heart attack in the bathroom, which we were told is common. People think they have to go to the toilet when it's happening.

I was getting "cyclical" heartburn, every hour or so I got a pain in the pit of my stomach. This went on for nearly a week. I was ignoring it because the flu was going around and the #2 daughter was having similar symptoms.

When the pain started gravitating up to my right shoulder and down my arm I had my wife take me to the emergency room where I had the "real deal" on the gurney.

Sure, it's quite simple. Take a 1N4148 model and make the small numbers really small and the big numbers really big. You might have to practice a bit before you get it right.

Jim:

"Inferior myocardial infarction"... been there...

Here's my story...

Over 40, 50 pounds overweight, BP 150/90, resting heart rate 85, in the bathroom one Sunday morning, laying in a tub of hot water, smoking a cigarette, reading EE Times...

Hey, I was superman, but... it happened!!!

I said it was indigestion... wife said I looked funny!

Wife called 911... paramedics saved my life...

I love that woman...

After 40... Don't mess with chest pains, acid reflux, tobacco, overweight, high BP, flying a desk, and caffeine...

These days...

I'm back in condition, don't fly a desk, BMI spot on, triglycerides in the sink, HDL way up, LDL way down, resting heart rate 70, BP 115/70, running 8 minute miles every day, surfing, fishing, riding bcycle, solving analog problems for a new generation of digital Engineers...

Still kikin analog ass!

Neat!

Sounds familiar

I quit smoking years before my attack.

That's what I need to do, get in shape. My problem is a combination of polio and arthritis makes it difficult :-(

Yep, My wife is on my case to get the doctor to prescribe swimming. Then I can deduct the cost of heating the pool... the solar doesn't get it above 60°F this time of year.

Hi Jim,

It would seem to me that in the course of designing and thoroughly testing your new line of pool heating and automation accessories, you would certainly need to maintain a full sized test platform.

You can't do everything with Pspice.
