im having problems with my CRT monitors. they flick ( checked couple units ) I live next to street power line. ( my wall on 3rd floor is couple feet from it ) dont flick on 60Hz refresh ratio but higher yes- badly.
120 Hz is small but ennoying flicking only ( image looks blury )
Is there a way to shield my monitor from it? Will socalled Faraday Cage solve the problem? Mumetals? They're expensive.
I have a gaussometer EMF reading read by a specialist from my gas electr spupplier
here it is -
i have almost 12 miligausse in my place - how to lower it in a cheap way?
i dont want LCD minitor
Any links to EMF shields suppliers?
BTW - checked all other factors ( no magnetic sources around no electricity problems and my next door neighbour has the same think with his DELL monitor)
