Distribution-SCADA
Due to introduction of Availability Based Tariff (ABT) and Open Access Regulations for inter-state transmission, it becomes important to establish Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems in electricity distribution utilities. Infact, the regulatory authorities made SCADA a mandatory requirement for distribution utilities. But due to financial constraints most of the distribution utilities in developing countries face difficulty in establishing the system. The following proposal would yield good return on the investment.
