In version 6.1 of the XIlinx tools, I was able to configure the s/w to use an external editor (in my case, gvim) to view reports. So, if I clicked on the 'Pad Report' icon, it would open a new gvim window with the report.
In 8.1, this no longer seems to work. I've changed the preferences, and if I click on a module name, I get a gvim window. If I click on a report,
8.1 uses the internal viewer.Anyone else seeing this?
