Whare Can One Get a Case for the HP 6216A Power Supply?

Dec 28, 2003 0 Replies

I've got several of the 6216As, 6214As, etc., with cracked cases. I'm trying to piece them together, but everytime I touch one, it's so brittle that it fractures.

I don't imagine that HP will sell a case for one at a price that's less than the cost of the PS on Ebay. The highest bid so far has been $66, and I got some for as loe as $12. So it's not probable that we will pay more for the replacement case than the PS itself.

I thought that a local company might be willing to fab some reasonable quantity, say 100, and they could be sold to owners. I know I'd buy several if they were reasonable.

You'll be glad you did! Just when you thought you had all this figured out, the gov't changed it:
