Tek 2230 manuals, repair ideas

Hi folks,

I recently picked up a Tektronix 2230 100MHz digital scope, and it works pretty well for the most part, but has a couple of odd quirks, such as the channel 1 input modulates the entire screen, if you put a signal on channel 1, the trace looks great, but the text jumps vertically with the input signal, and the channel 2 trace is summed with the input on channel

1 (and not while in Add mode either, this is even if only channel 2 is displayed).

I can use the scope just fine if I only ever use channel 2 and keep channel 1 grounded.

Also, the onscreen menus that it displays are too big to fit the screen... I found some options in the menus that aid in calibration, drawing big boxes that I imagine you're supposed to line up with the screen graticle, but I'm not sure how to actually adjust that.

Does anyone have suggestions, and ideally a service manual for this thing? A user manual would be nice too, I have no paperwork for it. Thanks!
