Hello, I´m looking for information about Radiofrequency identification systems, equipment and development. I am mostly interested in systems used in Electronic Toll Collection used in highways. I would like to implement something like that for monitoring vehicles within a city.

You can start drilling down into the Motorola site. They are very big into RFID.
