HP 3490A

Service manual anyone? Powers up but permanent display of 12.0002 which is obviously an error code/indication of ADC failure or similar.

Thanks in advance

I have one, but it's BIG, 20Meg zipped. How to proceed? I can chop it in pieces and send them. You glue them together... Do you have a fast connection (DSL?) Let me know. Cheers, Zilog

The file you uploaded was not OK as it happens (way too small) - I've uploaded it OK though as HP3490A.pdf.new along with a small readme.txt.

Thanks to the service manual kindly sent by VMI, this is now working - the problem was basically the instrument was out of adjustment. Int zero was way out, and the +10V reference was somewhat out of adjustment as well.
