PowerTap Pro/CW8 - 29DL640G Flash Memory Device Support

Hi



Anyone know if the PowerTap Pro/CodeWarrior 8.0 flash programmer supports all the AMD 29DL640 devices (D,G,H), or is there something special about the



29DL640B (which doesn't seem to exist) listed among supported devices?

Hi Geoff,

All the flash variants that you listed -- 'B, 'D, 'G, etc. -- are merely AMD's updates to the same device. If you are using the AM29DL640B then you can tell CW that you are using the AM29DL640D and everything will work just fine.
