I want connect webcam to ARM9. it is possible? what hardware are recommended?

Purpose: Some onboard image processing/reading sensors--> controlling my small robot

I good know Gentoo on normal PC, but none experience on embedded. I just starting.

I know well ARM7 & AVR, and programming it without OS, and witch freeRTOS, bud I'm just starting with embedded Linux and ARM9.

Please any advice, links to howtos....and what is useful.

sorry for poor english

ndiswrapper can't work on ARM - it's an interface layer designed to allow WinXX drivers to run under Linux on x86 processors.

Hello again.

What about my following questions?

Mos important for me: webcam@USB that works with arm9 ( very low fps would be OK or even single shot)

Is drivers for any already ported or I must port drivers myself? What hardware are recommended? (res 640x480 minimum)
