An alternative to Rational Rose RealTime

Hello,

I am looking for a tool that allows me to use UML to design/simulate embedded systems. Is there another program I can use other than Rose RealTime, or is this the best choice available.

Thanks -v- much.

you could take a look at Argo UML Stef Mientki

There are lots of tools available. Rhapsody and Artisan Real Time Studio are 2 good one to take a look at. Rhapsody is very good but don't limit it to just these there are a bunch you should look at before you decide.

Hi,

I've been using Rose for a lot of years. I would tell you, don't go for it. After it has become IBM no developemnt is apperantly done. The IBM web site is a nightmare to navigate in to find FAQ, and technical notes.

I have no experience regarding simulating, I sounds nice, but if the answer is Rose I would say 'no thank you'.

I have bought a case tool from

formatting link
called Enterprise Architect. I'm very pleased, and the price is aproximately 10% of Rose C++.

BridgePoint (Now Mentor, was project technology)

How does it compare to iUML (Kennedy Carter)?
