What do you do with the unused pins on the IC?
Leave it floating or connect it directly to ground?

Outputs are left open, input are usually best tied to something.

Spam block in place, no emil reply is expected at all.
Sometimes the datasheet will tell you if there is a requirement. If you can find a reference design this can often times provide some good clues too.
