Hi all. I'm selecting bidirectional TVS diodes for protecting RS-485 transceiver input lines. Any suggestion of a particular part number? TIA

Why bidirectional? What are you trying to protect against? How many transceivers? How much space? Cost target?
Is bidirectional the same as bipolar? I know nothing about TVS diodes.

Yes, basically a nose-to-nose zener vs. a single zener.

Think of them as zeners.
