hello everyones! i am a new visitor of ur community. my problem is that i want to built my own regulated power supply for my experiments of electronics.the power supply should be v&i regulated up to max 50v dc and 10 amp regulated.i also want its display of v&i in digital form. can any one help me about this regards

This is not going to be an inexpensive project, sir. We all would like good electronics equipment, but are reluctant to pay the going price.
Why don't you try a piece of used test equipment? It will surely be cheaper than buying the components to make one yourself, and certainly less than a new one.
You might want to look at the HP6274B, which will give you lab quality constant voltage or constant current in the range of 0-60V and 0-15A. Its only shortcoming for you is providing analog meters for voltage and current rather than digital displays. You will probably spend at least several hundred dollars for a working one, but it'll be a bargain over trying to build something that big, especially for a newbie.
Possibly, if you lower your sights on the current spec by an order of magnitude or so, you might be able to build something yourself.

The best advice I can suggest is enroll in local 'Hercules' club and in about two years of intensive training you will be ready to tackle physically this kind of monster. The display is the easy part, I and V 'regulated' output is another story altogether. Start with an appetiser of 25vX2A and then move on to
3/4 KW levels. BTW you say electronics, those usually mean small amounts of power.Good luck

hi, frnd i don't know what is ur intention in making these large power supply with huge current.In electronics we usually deals with currents os the order micro amp. and a few volts and i think most of the transistors and electronics devices now available are not cpable of with standing ur requirements so that it is better to u to forget ur project. GOOD LUCK IF U WANT CONTINUE WITH THIS ONE.
This would be a very expensive and a complex project. It would be a lot cheaper for you to go out and buy a discent laboratory type bench supply that would meet your needs. There are used ones around at a reasonable cost.
When building projects that work on the mains supply, there is a strong need for the consideration for safety and to meet the proper standards.

There are plenty of applications of electronic circuits which involve currents up to or even in excess of 100 amps. Motor drivers are a common example. Look at the rcgroups.com forums dealing with electric model aircraft; BLDC motors which take 30-80 amps are commonplace, and those have to be driven by electronic driver circuits.
For a switched-mode power supply, 10 amps is trivial; the PSU in a PC delivers more than that. SMPS which deliver hundreds of amps are common.
--- There are many companies which sell test equipment who can supply you with exactly what you need for far less (in money and aggravation) than it would take for you to build an equivalent power supply.
As an aside, why do you find it necessary to flaunt the rules of English when asking for help from an obviously English-speaking community?
It's not like you don't know what it's about, it's more like you're trying to change the culture.

hi i start a project for a dual power supply unit voltage and current regulation 3/5 or more if you want amp and 0 to about 20 V output overvoltage protection and short circuit protection if you want to help me... for the normal electronic's activity is optimal
