Shortest distance between two points -- try a Basic Stamp. Just use a ULN2804 to have the 8 Stamp output pins drive 8 small relays, and you're done.

actually it should comprise of timer control switches.with which each device can be programmed to a time limit separately.the devices controlled may be working with relays. it should have an lcd display.

i need circuit diagram with all the inputs and outputs.i googled for that but was unable to get that.i need just the circuit and its code.if any schematiccs available pertaining this, u can specify that.

Isn't the project meant to involve *designing* the circuit and writing the code yourself ? Cribbing wil teach you nothing other than how to cheat.
