A little while back, I was checking out different bias meters (for biasing tubes) on the internet and came across one that was pretty reasonably priced (
I work on old radios and all I ever needed was my DMM. In the old days I used a VTVM. Hi impedance and proper range is all you need. Tom
-- I think he\'s talking about measuring bias _current_ which requires breaking the circuit and inserting a _low_ impedance meter across the break.

Usually there is a bias resistor and you can measure the voltage, but I wasn't thinking you wanted to break the circuit when I responded, my error. Tom
