KIPA mixer kit

I bought the referenced mixer kit on eBay. The vendor knows nothing technical and has not been helpful in communicating with the kitter, which I suspect is in eastern Europe. The instructions are not quite up to USA kit standards.

In particular, I have been unable to learn what pots P!-P3 and P1'-P3' are supposed to do.

Can someone please take a look at the schematic and give me an opinion? See:

I think P1 and P2 are bass and treble controls, and P3 is a balance or wet/dry control.

As for the P1', all I see there is a connection for it on the board layout - it doesnt appear in the schem does it?

P3 is volume. The 'prime' version of the P1 to P3 pots are the other channel (right?). Only one channel shown.

The other P pots appear to be for the mixer function, 2 lefts and 2 rights.

FWIW, this is the eBay page:

Maybe P1-P3 and P1'-P3' are for the "sound regulator for low and high audio frequencies and a preamplifier,"

or maybe have to do with

"Supply voltage is bipolar and can be adjusted in the range of ±9 V to ±18 V."

What is life without some mystery?

If only I could be sure I wouldn't lose the magic smoke, I would just twiddle and see what happens.
