How to explain the waking screen rustle?

where your posts enter usenet needn't reflect where your mindset or physical location is...

As I understand it the USA uses , to separate thousands and . for decimals which makes your figure somwhere above 15MHZ

there's no way the horizontal rate is anywhere near 15MHz, the channel bandwidth is only 5 or so.

OIt does, if you use a different convention to denote fractional units.

Read it again, I stated that it was 15,734 Hz.

Go to google.com and type in things like "TV theory" "horizontal" "vertical" "pixels" "1000 1001" "flyback", etc. Wikipedia is starting to have a lot of useful info and Google indexes it

So if I was to start posting through individual.net I should start using commas for decimals? or should I move to Germany?

both seem patently ridiculous to me. what do you mean by that sentence?

What I am trying to say is that if you aren't sure of where someone is reading from and you know that there are different conventions used it would only be polite to include a note stating what the hell units you are using. Since this is a mostly english language and US group, it is a lot more likely to see the comma used to denote thousands. If I went to a country specific newsgroup I would see what they are using, or include a note explaining what I was using.
