I'm looking for some very soft/limp wire for a probe for a hand-held instrument. A wire that will not kink each time it is put away in a carrying case. 2 and 4 conductor, 22AWG preferred.

How about a headphone cord from one of those walkman-type things?

Search for silicone insulated wire and, if you want an overall jacket,
for silicone tubing.
