dc rms voltage?

Nov 01, 2006 3 Replies

Hi Does anyone know what is "rms dc voltage"? Thanks Ilan

This is a rather odd reference, since all DC voltages are effectively RMS. Think of RMS as "the equivalent DC voltage that produces the same heating" as an AC voltage under consideration.
