Hi, I recently bought a (non original) charger for my cellphone (o2 atom) . After 3-4 uses without problems , now when I sometimes plug it in and put the cellphone on, I hear some cracking noises. The charger is electronic charger, the mains supply is 240V, the charger's input is 100-240V 50/60HZ and the output is 5V 1A
I tried plugging it in different sockets and different homes and also on a line stabilizer. Most of the times it cracks when operating, but not always.
I took it to the shop I bought it from but they told me that this happens with electronic chargers and is due to the interruption of the magnetic field (or something like that).
I use electronic chargers for quite some time now and this is the first time a charger is noisy. Is this normal or are the guys at the shop telling me crap ?
