How much voltage is used on a TV antenna cable?
========================= microvolts and picowatts are received by the antenna

** Err - it is typically many millivolts per TV channel.Works out to be around one microwatt per channel.

======================================== foofoo... silly factor of a thousand. I do taxes on the side for extra money. Send me your receipts Phil!
the signal is a few microvolts.
sometimes a higher voltage (like 12V) is fed in the bottom end to power a booster at the top.
sometimes a tv set will develop a fault and produce a few hundered volta on the antenna socket I've measured about 400V throug a resistance of about
2Mohms, other than giving a nasty suprise to anyone who touched the antenna the TV was working fine.Bye. Jasen

** Like hell it is.With dozens of UHF and VHF signals in an urban area - the total RF signal voltage can be 100mV or more .
A single analogue TV signal needs to be above 1mV for a noise free pic.
