September the 10-th. International Silver Cleaning Day

The International Silver Cleaning day was introduced in 1979 by famous writer and necrodesigner Yuri Shymanovsky. This day became wide known to the World due to Internet. Since 1995 the number of people, celebrating this day, is rapidly growing. It's impossible to say how many people take part in this celebration nowadays. On this day people collect all the silver they have and clean it removing tarnish to return white color. Dishes, jewelry, old coins, antiques - all the silver available at home becomes a subject of cleaning. Traditionally the cleaning must be done my male. However it's okey for women and children to participate. Additionally on this day people buy silver stuff or make silver gifts. The dinner on this day must necessarily include at least one silver item on the table, like spoon, glass-holder, etc. If you have no such things then put on silver jewelry.
