Hi All,

I am programming a FM transmitter driver, per the spec, there is a CES item.

I can adjust it, and the radio will gone ( exit the my selection channel)

but, I am still don't know what is CES? and it's description is

"Local oscillator frequency extension"

My understanding is, external oscillator feds chip,

My question is why it needs a frequency extension..and what is it for?

Thank you very much!

Could it be driving a counter to let you work out what frequency your radio is tuned to?

Thanks, but I don't think so....
