Wasn't one of the items she invented, the dual diversity receiver?

Hedy Lamar? She was co-inventor of frequency-hopping spread spectrum transmission. She could also have had some form of diversity receiver but this is the first I've heard of it.

That was the best-known invention. My Q was in reference to the dual diversity receiver.

Did you try Googling? 1.6 million responses, many pretty good.

I don't see any mention of it. In fact, the whole story about Lamarr is overblown BS. RF controlled torpedoes were never developed, and no use of her "invention" was ever made in WWII.

Tesla first conceived of and developed the idea of frequency hopping:

Next thing you know Marilyn Monroe is the true inventor of the transistor.

You're an ignorant joke, go away. And I like the way you give authority to your usually wrong pronouncements by use of classifying information by what *you* have or have not heard of. You're almost too pathetic for words.

Bloggs just *HAS* to show exactly how stupid he his. Always.

Fred Bloggs and I share a very low opinion of krw's cognitive abilities. Krw is too dim to be able to understand that we are right.

You are *exactly* the right one to defend Bloggs, Slowman. Couldn't be a more perfect pair.

more perfect pair.

I'm not defending Fred - he can look after himself. I'm just exploiting ano ther opportunity to remind the group of your cognitive deficits, which are exceptional - we do have some fine examples of empty-headed right-wingers a round here, but your head does seem to be the emptiest on exhibition.

You make Jim-out-of-touch-with-reality-Thompson look almost sophisticated.
