The stupidity is largely John Larkin's, but if you think you understand it, you'd have to be pretty nearly as stupid. The implication was that we will evolve to adapt to the changing climate conditions, but that rather ignore s the speed at which anthropogenic global warming is changing the environme nt - the last time anything remotely as rapid happened was during the Paleo cene-Eocene thermal maximum, and that seems to have been about a factor of ten slower.

It didn't do much in the way of species extinction, except in the oceans, b ut did lead to a burst of new species on land ( which can't have been much fun for the existing species).

Dan is still as deluded as ever about his cleverness - which is less than o bvious. He may be richer than I am, but since he doesn't have a clue how mu ch money I've got, it's not a claim that a smart person would make.

But the public is the constituencies. You suggest suicide?

California had insanely contorted districts, mostly Democrat. The people passed an initiative to require that districts be drawn by an independent commission, and not the politicians.

I think a computer should do it.
