I just had to construct a 6.2k resistor out of two 10k and one 1.2k because it would not track as the (much) older batch of 6.2k ones used to track the 10k batch we have used for years. [the unit was within specs, 30ppm/C overall drift, but just - and we have never shipped anything above 20ppm/C gain drift, usually about 15] The resistors are mini-melf, 50ppm/C. Any experiences/know how on how to be lucky when buying so they will track well? Don't have a figure for that, I saw the overall drift and located the culprit using a thin current of hot air. We don't need huge quantities, hundreds or so at a time is how we buy.
