tilt sensor

I am using ADXL203 Accelerometer for a tilt sensor. Becuase of shocks in my system I cant get thre accurate output. can anybody help me with this problem. Thanks M.K.

How are you filtering the output? What are the shocks amplitude? What response time do you need?
