TCXO (shopping for replacement)

You need a something with higher resistivity. Metals aren't all that different. And as a Bill keeps pointing out semiconductors have a negative temp co. More carriers when it's hotter.

I only want 0.33 ohms.

Nichrome melts at 1400C, doesn't corrode. Its specific heat is a bit less than copper, and tempco is about 10:1 better.

I guess nichrome is about as good as you can do. Still only a factor of 100.
