SD14 probe sampler

A small amount of conductive epoxy should do fine as it is 100k and 0.5 pF input. Since the back of the body is threaded, I wonder if you could modify a regular probe to thread on? Is this one from epay? BTW, I finally got a copy of the Ver 10 firmware for my 11801.

I soldered a pin on the end. Next I'll add a pyramid of epoxy to give it some support. I put a couple more pix up.

It's probably from ebay... most of my sampling stuff is.

There's a guy selling NIB SD-14s for $450 iirc. Both of mine have the nubs, which seem to work fine.

How I long for the days when I could get your stuff with FTP, in seconds!

Some people can't open the FTP stuff. I started a web site, but it's a nuisance to add stuff to.

But it's blazingly fast in comparison for the usual upload sites. You could set up a "folder" in your Windows Explorer that is in essence your FTP site. Then it should be down to a drag-and-drop operation.

I am using that when exchanging pictures and stuff with my sister in Europe.

I use FireFTP to dump files onto the FTP site. It's fast, drag-and-drop. But some people can't access the FTP site and complain. And some people can't open Dropbox files and complain.

I guess I could do http instead of FTP but I haven't taken the time to figure that out. What I need is a lackey/scutt bunny/intern/tech to do stuff like this for me, and go out for pizza in the rain and stuff. I'm seriously considering that.

My web host (GoDaddy) gives me SSH and SFTP shell access, so from Linux I can use sshfs to mount the web space to the file system. In Windows I use ExpanDrive to to the same thing, which makes website maintenance almost completely painless. The files I post here from time to time live in a subdirectory on the web site.

All you need to do in install a web server on jjlarkin.lmi.net and tell it to serve the same directories as the FTP server. microhttpd perhaps, or if you want a sledgehammer apache.

Then the same tail part of the url will work with both FTP and HTTP heads.

LMI is our ISP. I guess I could ask them to do something.
